Where is my (Luna's) office located?

When Covid came upon the world in 2020, Grounded In Scripture moved to an online virtual office presence and remains virtual, with the exception of some tutoring and mentoring services.

The majority of my clients find it more convenient to meet via a virtual office. They are able to "meet" with me from the comfort of their own personal space, during lunch breaks, while the kids are at school, and before leaving the office. Meeting virtually also removes the hassle of having to drive in traffic.

Book a free Let's Chat session to experience for yourself the benefits and ease of meeting on Zoom. I do offer some in-person appointments for those who live in Arizona.

What can I expect?

Guidance - Wisdom - Support

Expect:

  • A deeper understanding of God and the Bible.

  • Skills to study the Bible on your own.

  • Growth in your personal faith in Jesus Christ.

  • One-on-one personal discipleship.

  • Customized tutoring, coaching and mentoring to fit your personal needs.

Expect change! Change can be uncomfortable, especially meaningful

heart-centered change. As a believer, be open to the unexpected as the Holy Spirit stirs a shift within you. Change can be challenging, but the journey is worth the reward. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you.

What is Bible Tutoring?

Have you ever been in a situation where:

  • Where you felt out of place, like a rookie, in a Bible study?

  • The Bible study group leader asked you to look up a Bible verse and read it out loud but you were not sure how to look it up. Old or New Testament?

  • You struggled to find things in your Bible while following along in church?

  • Found yourself completely lost as to what was being taught in the Bible.

  • Had no idea what all the Bible terminologies meant?

  • Afraid to speak up, join the discussion, or answer any questions in the Bible study group or at church?

  • Stopped attending Bible study because you felt that everyone else is more knowledgeable than you about the Bible?

The above is just a small list of the reasons I hear why women struggle to read their Bibles and participate in Bible study discussions. Instead, they lean into Christian books, Youtube channels, or the latest speaker to tell them what the Bible says or for guidance. How does a person know if what they are reading or hearing in those books, videos, or speakers is truly the Word of God and what the Bible actually says or means if they have not read the Bible for themselves?

Bible Tutoring gives a person the tools and skills to open their Bible and begin reading it with confidence.

  • Be able to read and understand the Bible.

  • Learn to break down Scripture to understand its context.

  • Learn how to study it verse by verse, chapter by chapter.

  • Have confidence when attending group Bible studies.

  • Learn basic Bible terminologies

  • What Bible translation is best for you?

  • Exegesis vs Eisegesis. What's the difference? Why is that important?

  • Learn how to study the Bible for yourself without the use of a study guide.

Studying the Bible:

  • Strengthens discernment.

  • Draws you near to God.

  • Helps you to identify false teachings and doctrine.

  • Transforms your heart to the things of God.

  • Helps you to hear God's voice and discern His will for you.

  • Connects a Believer to the Holy Spirit, who is the one that illuminates Scripture.

What is Biblical Discipleship?

Biblical coaching/mentoring/discipleship is rooted in Bible. A Biblical Coach is not a Pastor or therapist and does not function as one. Biblical Life Coaching is a lay ministry for personal spiritual growth and education through the lens of the Holy Bible.

A typical coaching/tutoring/mentoring session opens and closes in prayer to God. The main tools used during the coaching/tutoring/mentoring  conversation are the Bible, prayer, study materials, and the Holy Spirit to help guide the learning through a biblical lens. All homework, reading materials, or soul-researching information given to the client is rooted in Christian biblical truths from the Holy Bible.

Biblical coaching/tutoring/mentoring is helpful in all areas of the Christian life, whether the goal is to improve Bible knowledge, personal life, business goals, or deepen a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Coaching encourages self-discovery and growth through learning vs. telling. See the disclaimer for more detailed information.
